About us

The M.I.A.E consists of volunteers only : no salary is paid, neither in France nor in the supported countries. The Bureau and board of directors consists of the members of the associations. The M.I.A.E is a link between the several member associations. It is a place of dialog thanks to a consistent and transparent communication on the ongoing actions and future projects.

The Movement’s essential role as a federation, encourages coordination by putting to good use the creativity, loyalty and knowledge of each association. Our two main goals are :

To provide help to existing associations through various aids, advices and support;
To help create new associations and/or nutritional centers

Communication

The M.I.A.E coordinates the communication between the member associations and the nutritional centers, with the donors and volunteers.

Support

The M.I.A.E offers moral and even financial aid, to enable the member associations to grow their on-site actions further.

Engagement

The M.I.A.E relies on the goodwill and engagement of their volunteers only.

Collaboration

The M.I.A.E’s wish is to encourage the synergy between its member associations.

The beginnings

Ten months after the creation of the M.I.A.E, 15 associations joined the movement to help more than 400 children. They operated in five countries : Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Honduras and Peru.

Today, the M.I.A.E gathers 17 member associations operating in 7 countries : Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, Madagascar, Mexico and Peru.

It now numbers 35 nutritional centers and school canteens, providing food for 5,946 children, representing 1 189 200 meals distributed !
